Problem
When the PDE starts up, I can't use most of my keyboard keys;

Solution
This relates to old releases of Linux distributions of XBasic. A direct solution is to toggle your NUM-LOCK key since this is the troublemaker, try upgrading to Eddie's 6.1.3 or later, those versions should have got rid of that problem completely.
